2nd Annual Fall Scholarship Festival

The Community Church of Pine Run EMC presents our 2nd Annual Fall Scholarship Festival to raise awareness about & funding for the Pine Run EMC Educational Scholarships on October 1st, 2022 from 11am-4pm. Join us for Live Music, Raffles, Food, Fun, Vendors, and more!

We will be at Kunkle Park, 285 Pine Run Church Rd, Apollo, PA, 15613.

* All profits will go to Pine Run EMC Educational Scholarship Fund.

The Story of Our Scholarship Fund

In October of 2005, the Women’s Ministry started the first Scholarship fund with just $153.00. With a handful of donations and a few small fundraisers, they were able to give their first scholarship of $500.00 in the spring of 2006 to a local high school graduate.

Over the years The Community Church of Pine Run Educational Scholarships has grown to include students from the Apollo-Ridge, Kiski Area, Leechburg, and Penn Hills, school districts. As of this year, we have given $60,000.00 to a total of 85 students over the course of 16 years.

These scholarships make it possible for young men and women to pursue careers that bring their faith, and consequently the love of God, into the world in tangible ways.

If you are a local business or community partner who is interested in donating a basket for the Basket Raffle, please contact us with your information and to schedule your basket drop-off time at The Community Church of Pine Run EMC. All Baskets will need to be accounted for by Sept. 29th. Thank you for your Support!

General Information About Our Scholarship Festival

Set-up will begin at 9:00am, the day of the festival

There will be food available for donation at the festival provided by The Community Church of Pine Run EMC.
